Here is a LO for a change. This page was a part of a Christmas gift to my sister, this is her daughter who got married this year :o) The flowers are not quite this yellow IRL, they are more cream like the photo mat.

1
A birthday card for a 1 year old boy inspired by Donna´s beautiful shaped cards. Luckily drawing the number 1 is relatively easy but if I decide to do a more complicated number or letter I will probably have to buy her templates :o) I wasn´t going to use a lot of flowers since this is a card for a boy but it looks like I got a bit carried away.

Hjólhýsakort / The camper
I stumbled onto Donna´s blog while browsing in blogland. What a talented lady she is!! She creates all kinds of wonderful shaped cards. I was so inspired by her camper card that I decided to try to make one myself as I had to make a card for a 60 year old dedicated camper who loves to sing and golf. This is what I came up with. The sign on the doorknob translates: Out for a game of golf :o)

Herrakort / A man card
Eitt svona herrakort ;o) Mér finnst þessi mynd svo frábær en get ekki sagt með góðri samvisku að mér hafi fundist skemmtilegt að lita hana :o/
A card for an elderly gentleman ;o) As much I love this image I can´t honestly say that I loved colouring it, something was bothering me :o/ PP is BasicGrey, love this pad.

Þetta eru líka fyrstu kortin þar sem ég nota nýju fínu blómin mín, þau pantaði ég af I am roses og nú er hún orðin nýja uppáhaldsbúðin mín :o)I was asked to make quite a few sympathy cards and here are the first two. Ett trykk had a nice sketch for such simple cards this month so I just had to give it a go and enter. This is also my first opportunity to use my brand new and adorable flowers, I got them at I am roses which has now quickly become my favourite online store for flower shopping :o)

This birthday gift for a friend is my entry in this week´s sketch challenge on Sketch Saturday. I got some inspiration from the talented Bev and made an easel card with a drawer underneath in which I put some jewelry that I made. I am pleased to say that my friend was delighted with this gift :o)

Sukkersött #90
Áskorun vikunnar á Sukkersött blogginu er svo létt að það er bara ekki hægt að taka ekki þátt, það á nefnilega að nota blóm og perlur :o) Þó að nú sé ekki tími ferminga var ég af sérstökum ástæðum beðin að gera eitt fermingarkort í ágúst.
This week´s challenge on Sukkersött is an easy one (flowers and pearls) and I just have to participate :o) This lovely PP is from Paper Cellar, the image is from Whiff of Joy, the edge punch is from Martha Stewart and the beautiful cream flower was crocheted by my friend Magnea, don´t you just love it?

80
Ég var beðin að gera kort handa áttræðum stangveiðimanni. Ég fann engan stimpil sem mér fannst passa svo að ég prentaði út þessa mynd af netinu, ég held að þetta komi bara ágætlega út :o)
I was asked to make a card for a 80 years old man who likes fishing. I didn´t find a fitting stamp so I printed this picture from the internet, I think I like the way it turned out :o)
PP: DaisyD´s, Diane´s Daughters and a page from an old book
Flowers: Prima and Bazzill
Edge punch: Martha Stewart

Afmæliskort / Birthday Card
A quick-ish card that I made for a friend who just turned 40. PP is from BasicGrey, flowers from Prima. My photo seems to be a bit blurry, it is better if you click on it and view it larger.

Brúðkaup / Wedding
I was asked to make two wedding cards, on one of them the bride was not supposed to be in a traditional wedding dress, so I coloured her dress to match the paper instead and skipped the bouquet. I hope the lady who requested these cards will be happy :o)

Golfdrotting / Golf Queen
Another golfcard following the same sketch as the last one. I like this sketch and will probably use it often. I dug out my old Chatterbox paper, I think this pattern is great for golfcards. The other two papers are BasicGrey, the image is High Hopes.

Vintage
Tvö gamaldags kort sem ég er nýbúin að gera, engin áskorun, bara svona afþvíbara :o) Mér finnst gaman að nota svona myndir inn á milli sem smá tilbreytingu frá lituðum myndum.
Two vintage cards that I recently finished, no challenge, just something I wanted to do :o) I like using vintage photos every now and then, I think it makes a nice change from stamping and colouring.

Golfstjarnan / The Golf Star
Þetta kort gerði ég með þrjár áskoranir í huga: Skissan er af Sketch Saturday, á High Hopes á að nota stjörnur og á Cute Card Thursday er þemað sumar.I made this card with three challenges in mind: The lovely sketch is from Sketch Saturday, on High Hopes the challenge is to use stars and on Cute Card Thursday the theme is summer. I must confess I have not yet mastered the pearl pen from Viva Decor, please don´t laugh at my attempt with it on this card :o/ You might need a magnifying glass to see the three tiny pearls in the bottom left corner, I wanted them to be small, but perhaps not quite this small ... LOL. Looks like I have to practice a little bit with this :o) The paper is from Paper Cellar and the image is from High Hopes.

Spegill spegill ... / Mirror mirror ...
I decorated a mirror from IKEA to give to my niece for her birthday. The photo is of her dog. I discovered that a mirror is not the easiest thing to photograph, I kept seeing some reflections I didn´t want ... LOL. The PP is BasicGrey and the flowers and butterfly are Prima.

Bildmålarna #1
Bildmålarna are starting to have challenges on their blog. A Bildmålarna image is required and the first challenge is to make a summer card. I love the image I used on this card and I think it is quite summery. I don´t know why I coloured both her pants and top in the same colour, I didn´t realize I had done that until the colouring was almost finished!! The papers are Perhaps from BasicGrey.

Papertake Weekly GDT (#4)

Sadly this is my last card as GDT for Papertake Weekly :o( I have enjoyed this experience very much but all things must come to an end or at least that´s what they say ;o) This week we have a wonderful sketch by Dawny to follow and an optional twist is to include the colours lilac and lemon as the sponsor this week is Lilac Lemon Designs. As these are not colours I use a lot, I went through some of my older scraps to find suitable papers. The image I used is from hÄnglar&stÄnglar.

Papertake Weekly GDT (#3)
My third week as GDT for Papertake Weekly, "summer fun" is the theme this week. I am sure that a game of golf qualifies as "summer fun" (at least for those who play golf) although this poor guy doesn´t seem to be having much fun :o) I used a pair of golf tees as embellishments and also a golf score card. The sentiment is a play with words in Icelandic referring to the green on the golf course, the word "grínið" can also mean a joke. I was trying to keep other embellishments to a minimum as this is a guy card, but had to include one flower anyway :o)

Papertake Weekly GDT (#2)
Þetta er önnur vikan mín sem gestahönnuður hjá Papertake Weekly. Ég speglaði skissuna til fella hana betur að myndinni sem mig langaði að nota. This is my second week as a GDT for Papertake Weekly. This week we have a fabulous sketch to follow. I mirrored the sketch to make it fit the image better.

Papertake Weekly GDT :o)
Woohoo !! I was lucky enough to get to be a guest design team member on Papertake Weekly for 4 weeks !! This week the challenge is to use flowers (easy peasy!!) I am still in vintage mode and used a picture I printed from the internet. I am such a sissy when it comes to bulky flowers on my cards. As much as I love all those beautiful large roses and flowers I hate it when the cards don´t fit in any regular envelope. So I usually save the dimension for boxtops and such - unless of course the card is extra special and not supposed to go in an envelope :o) Maybe I just have to change my way of thinking ;o)
PP: Paper Cellar (wedding line) and a page from an old book
Flowers: Bazzill and Prima
Branch punch: Martha Stewart
Brads: Making Memories and Bazzill
Sentiment: computer generated

Sukkersött #83
Áskorun vikunnar sem er að líða á Sukkersött blogginu er að gera kort til að óska til hamingju með hvaða áfanga sem er. Ég tek þátt með þessu brúðarkorti.
This week´s challenge on Sukkersött is to make a card with any kind of congratulations. I am entering this wedding card with a vintage photo printed from the internet. The PP is from a pad from Paper Cellar, the line is called Wedding. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Papertake Weekly #40
Svindlaði pínu pons á skissu vikunnar á Papertake Weekly blogginu en vona að það komi ekki að sök. Tek þátt engu að síður :o)
I am entering this card in this week´s challenge on Papertake Weekly. I hope this qualifies even if I cheated a little bit on the sketch. I think you can still recognize the sketch, I did mirror it though. I am totally in love with my new MS Punch Around the Page punches and the gorgeous PP are from a pad from Paper Cellar, the line is called Wedding.

Sukkersött #80
Eitt gamaldags barnakort í áskorun vikunnar á Sukkersött blogginu. Prentaði myndina út af netinu og notaði blaðsíðu úr gamalli barnabók.
I had been thinking about making a vintage card for a few days when Sukkersött posted a new challenge on Friday and it happened to be "vintage" :o) So I printed a picture I found on the Internet and made a vintage baby card.
PP: Diane´s Daughters, Daisy D´s and a page from an old book
Flowers: Prima and unknown
Other materials: Tulle, brads and a computer generated ticket

A box of cards
I made this box following Randi´s template and made 6 small cards to match. My first attempt at closing the box with a magnet and I love it!! Must buy me some more of those. Thanks for all your inspiration Randi :o) This was a part of a small birthday gift that I gave away today. I think this is a nice thing to have when you need a card on short notice.

Cute Card Thursday #105
A few days ago when I saw on Maya´s blog the lovely round box she had made I remembered my pile of small round cheese-boxes that I have not had the heart to throw away. So today I altered one of them and I am entering it in this week´s challenge on Cute Card Thursday which is "dimensions". The large rose I made myself using a 6 petal flower punch, love that technique :o) The crystals were a gift from the lovely and talented Randi, thanks Randi, I am so in love with these crystals now :o)
PP: Chatterbox
Branch punch: Martha Stewart

Stamps: Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie, flower pot is cut from a hÄnglar&stÄnglar stamp
Flowers and roses: Prima
Branch punch: Martha Stewart
