Vá, það er orðið langt síðan ég hef tekið þátt í áskorun! Á A spoon full of sugar blogginu er ein auðveld þessa vikuna, "Anything goes". Það hlýtur að þýða að maður megi taka þátt með hverju sem er :o) Þá er best að ég skelli þar inn þessu skírnarkorti.

It´s been a long time since I´ve entered a challenge. On A spoon full of sugar there is an easy one this week, "Anything goes". So I´m entering with this baptism card.

Afmæliskort fyrir eins árs strák innblásið af kortunum hennar Donnu. Það vill til að það er tiltölulega einfalt að teikna upp töluna 1, en ef mér skyldi nú detta í hug að nota tölu eða staf sem er flóknari í laginu þarf ég líklega að kaupa skabalón frá henni :o) Ég ætlaði ekki að hafa mikið af blómum þar sem þetta er strákakort, en hef líklega gleymt mér aðeins.

A birthday card for a 1 year old boy inspired by Donna´s beautiful shaped cards. Luckily drawing the number 1 is relatively easy but if I decide to do a more complicated number or letter I will probably have to buy her templates :o) I wasn´t going to use a lot of flowers since this is a card for a boy but it looks like I got a bit carried away.

Hjólhýsakort / The camper

Ég var að skoða bloggið hennar Donnu og heillaðist gjörsamlega af kortunum hennar sem eru sko allavega í laginu. Mig langaði að prófa að gera sjálf hjólhýsakort þar sem ég var einmitt á höttunum eftir hugmynd að afmæliskorti fyrir sextugan hjólhýsaeiganda, golfara og kórsöngvara. Ég tók því fram blað og blýant og reyndi að laða fram einhvern smá dreitil af teiknihæfileikum. Merkilegt nokk, mér tókst að klambra saman þessu korti og er nú bara nokkuð ánægð með mig :o)

I stumbled onto Donna´s blog while browsing in blogland. What a talented lady she is!! She creates all kinds of wonderful shaped cards. I was so inspired by her camper card that I decided to try to make one myself as I had to make a card for a 60 year old dedicated camper who loves to sing and golf. This is what I came up with. The sign on the doorknob translates: Out for a game of golf :o)

Eitt svona herrakort ;o) Mér finnst þessi mynd svo frábær en get ekki sagt með góðri samvisku að mér hafi fundist skemmtilegt að lita hana :o/

A card for an elderly gentleman ;o) As much I love this image I can´t honestly say that I loved colouring it, something was bothering me :o/ PP is BasicGrey, love this pad.

Ett trykk / Trykkpressa september

Ég var beðin að gera slatta af samúðarkortum og hér koma fyrstu tvö. Ett trykk var með fína skissu fyrir svona einföld kort í september-áskorun sinni þannig að það var upplagt að nota hana og taka þátt í leiðinni. Þetta eru líka fyrstu kortin þar sem ég nota nýju fínu blómin mín, þau pantaði ég af I am roses og nú er hún orðin nýja uppáhaldsbúðin mín :o)

I was asked to make quite a few sympathy cards and here are the first two. Ett trykk had a nice sketch for such simple cards this month so I just had to give it a go and enter. This is also my first opportunity to use my brand new and adorable flowers, I got them at I am roses which has now quickly become my favourite online store for flower shopping :o)

Sketch Saturday #119

Með þessari afmælisgjöf handa vinkonu tek ég þátt í skissuáskorun vikunnar á Sketch Saturday blogginu. Mig langaði að prófa að gera svona "trönukort" og skellti einni skúffu undir til að setja í skartgripi sem ég gerði líka. Þetta er því heimaframleiðsla frá A til Ö :o)

This birthday gift for a friend is my entry in this week´s sketch challenge on Sketch Saturday. I got some inspiration from the talented Bev and made an easel card with a drawer underneath in which I put some jewelry that I made. I am pleased to say that my friend was delighted with this gift :o)

Sukkersött #90

Áskorun vikunnar á Sukkersött blogginu er svo létt að það er bara ekki hægt að taka ekki þátt, það á nefnilega að nota blóm og perlur :o) Þó að nú sé ekki tími ferminga var ég af sérstökum ástæðum beðin að gera eitt fermingarkort í ágúst.

This week´s challenge on Sukkersött is an easy one (flowers and pearls) and I just have to participate :o) This lovely PP is from Paper Cellar, the image is from Whiff of Joy, the edge punch is from Martha Stewart and the beautiful cream flower was crocheted by my friend Magnea, don´t you just love it?

Ég var beðin að gera kort handa áttræðum stangveiðimanni. Ég fann engan stimpil sem mér fannst passa svo að ég prentaði út þessa mynd af netinu, ég held að þetta komi bara ágætlega út :o)

I was asked to make a card for a 80 years old man who likes fishing. I didn´t find a fitting stamp so I printed this picture from the internet, I think I like the way it turned out :o)

Afmæliskort / Birthday Card

Frekar fljótlegt kort sem ég gerði handa fertugri vinkonu. Myndin er víst eitthvað óskýr en er betri ef maður smellir á hana og skoðar hana stærri.

A quick-ish card that I made for a friend who just turned 40. PP is from BasicGrey, flowers from Prima. My photo seems to be a bit blurry, it is better if you click on it and view it larger.

Brúðkaup / Wedding

Ég var beðin að gera tvö brúðkaupskort, annað átti ekki að vera með mynd af brúði í brúðarkjól, þess vegna hafði hana í lituðum kjól og ekki með brúðarvönd. Vonandi verður sú sem pantaði kortin ánægð :o)

I was asked to make two wedding cards, on one of them the bride was not supposed to be in a traditional wedding dress, so I coloured her dress to match the paper instead and skipped the bouquet. I hope the lady who requested these cards will be happy :o)
