Just Magnolia #24 & Friday Sketchers #71

Þetta kort fer í tvær áskoranir. Skissan er af Friday Sketchers og á Just Magnolia á að nota gráan og bleikan lit, má líka bæta svörtum við. Ég er mjög ánægð með útkomuna. Ég gæti þurft að kaupa meira af gráa pappírnum á útsölunni í Skröppu, finnst hann koma rosa vel út :o)

This card is for two challenges. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers and on Just Magnolia the colour combo to use is grey and pink with black as an option. I am happy with how this turned out, I think it might be a good idea to buy some more of the grey paper while it is on sale, I love the subtle look of it.

Loksins !! / Finally a new card !!

Vá, það eru 2 mánuðir síðan ég hef gert kort !! Alltof langur tími, ég var lengi að koma mér af stað í þetta í dag. Ég reyndi að vera ekki alltof lengi að gera þetta, gleymdi m.a.s. að setja glimmer á vængina áður en ég tók myndina, bæti úr því ;o)

It´s been 2 months since I have made a card !! It´s too long for a break, it took me a while to get sorted and start on this today. I didn´t feel like spending too much time on this, guess I need to get myself properly in gear for the next one, I even forgot to put glitter on Edwin´s wings ;o)

Sketch Saturday #58 & Cute Card Thursday #67

This week´s challenge on Cute Card Thursday is stitching, it is difficult to see the stitching around the edges but it helps if you click on the picture to make it bigger. I followed this week´s sketch on Sketch Saturday, lovely sketch, I´m sure I will use it again. I love my new hÄnglar & stÄnglar stamps to pieces :o)

Þetta kort gerði ég eftir skissu vikunnar á Sketch Saturday blogginu og áskorun vikunnar á Cute Card Thursday er að sauma. Sikksakkið kringum kortið sést ekki vel á myndinni nema maður smelli á hana og skoði hana stærri. Ég var svo heppin að eignast nokkra hÄnglar & stÄnglar stimpla í síðustu viku og var að vígja tvo af þeim á þessu korti. Þeir eru æði :o)

Tvö samúðarkort í viðbót í tveimur mismunandi litum. Ég embossaði krossinn og finnst það koma vel út.

Samúðarkort / Sympathy cards

Ég var beðin að gera nokkur samúðarkort og hér koma tvö þau fyrstu. Einföld og fljótleg, enda finnst mér ofhlaðin kort ekki hæfa tilefninu. Þessi tvö eru eins en samt ekki eins ;o)

I was asked to make a few sympathy cards and here are the first two. I think simple cards are perfect for sympathy and these were rather quick to make. I didn´t want them to be exactly the same so I varied the colors a bit.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #57

Þema vikunnar á A Spoon Full of Sugar er brúðkaup. Ég lyfti brúðhjónunum upp með 3D púðum og setti glimmer á skartgripina hennar og beltissylgjuna hans en það sést ekki vel á myndinni.

This week´s theme on A Spoon Full of Sugar is weddings. I put foam pads under the couple and put some glitter on her jewelry and his buckle but it does not show well in the picture.

Sukkersött #45

Áskorun vikunnar á Sukkersött er að nota bara mismunandi tóna af einum lit á kortin. Mér finnst nú litirnir í þessari mynd eitthvað skrítnir, pappírinn sem er á ská undir trénu er ekki svona mikið öðruvísi brúnn í raun og veru !!

This week´s challenge on Sukkersött is to use monochromatic colors on your card. I chose to use various tones of brown but I think the colors in my card look a bit strange in the picture. The layer underneath the image is not so much different IRL !! I love my new charms and am expecting a few more types in the mail ... but I have to be patient ;o)

Skrapp í {kort}er #16 & Friday Sketchers #57

Síðasta áskorun fyrir sumarfrí á Skrapp í {kort}er er að nota borða og blóm. Þetta rósótta er borði þó það líti kannski ekki út fyrir það á myndinni. Skissan sem ég fór eftir er svo af Friday Sketchers, en ég bætti samt við einu lagi af pappír. Notaði nýju "spacerana" mína í fyrsta sinn og notaði silfurlituð splitti með.

The challenge on Skrapp í {kort}er is to use ribbon and flowers. So where is the ribbon you might ask, well the thing with the roses on it is actually a piece of ribbon. I used this week´s sketch on Friday Sketchers although I added one layer of paper. The image is from Bildmålarna, love those stamps :o) I cut slits close to her hands to slip in her jump rope because I think she looks like she is jumping. I used my new spacers for the first time, love them :o) The lime green paper is BasicGrey but the rest of the things I used is of unknown origin.

Whiff of Joy - new release

Whiff of Joy er að koma með nýja stimplalínu sem verður hægt að panta þann 14. júní. Þetta eru æðislegar myndir af brúðhjónum og litlu barni.

Whiff of Joy is releasing a new line of stamps which will be available to order on 14th of June. These are adorable images of a bride and groom and their new baby.

Skrapp í {kort}er #15, A spoon full of sugar #54

Þetta kort átti upphaflega að vera fyrir þrjár áskoranir, litaáskorun á Skrapp í {kort}er, skissuáskorun á A spoon full of sugar og dýraáskorun á Just Magnolia. En ég rann út á tíma með þá síðastnefndu þannig að eftir standa bara tvær.

When I started making this card I intended to enter it in three challenges, color combo challenge on Skrapp í {kort}er, sketch challenge on A spoon full of sugar and animal challenge on Just Magnolia. However I didn´t manage to finish it before Just Magnolia´s deadline so the other two will have to do this time. Sorry about the bad quality of the photos.
