Sukkersöte kreasjoner

Dömurnar á Sukkersött áskoranablogginu eru komnar með nýtt blogg sem heitir Sukkersöte kreasjoner. Þar ætla þær að sýna ýmislegt sem þær finna í bloggheimum og langar að vekja athygli á. Það verður spennandi að fylgjast með þessu nýja bloggi hjá þeim og láta mata sig á snilldarverkum flinkra kortagerðarkvenna um allan heim :o)

The ladies on the Sukkersött challenge blog now have a new blog called Sukkersöte kreasjoner. There they will show us some pretty creations which they find on the blogs of creative cardmakers all over the world. I think this is a neat idea. I am going to sit back and let them feed me all the best stuff in Blogworld :o)

Cute Card Thursday #62, Sketch Saturday #52, Spoon full of sugar #53, High Hopes #32

Vá, ég hef aldrei fyrr sameinað 4 áskoranir í eitt kort !!! Skissan er af Sketch Saturday, á High Hopes á að nota brúnt og bleikt, á Spoon full of sugar á að nota blúndu og á Cute Card Thursday á að nota bling.

My first time to combine 4 challenges in one card !!! This is also my first time participating in 3 of these 4 :o) I rotated the sketch which is from Sketch Saturday, on the High Hopes blog the challenge is to use pink and brown, on A Spoon Full of Sugar the challenge is to use lace and on Cute Card Thursday the challenge is to use bling. I am not sure if it is a good idea to combine so many challenges in one card, but I hope this card qualifies for all of these anyway.

Skrapp í {kort}er #14

Áskorunin á Skrapp í {kort}er að þessu sinni er að fá innblástur úr þessari mynd frá Pottery Barn. Mér finnst þessi litasamsetning æðisleg og notaði hana ásamt viðarmynstrinu og járnhjólunum á borðinu sem ég líkti eftir með járnlituðu splitti.

The challenge on the Icelandic blog Skrapp í {kort}er this time is to get inspired by this picture from The Pottery Barn. I was inspired by the color combo and the wooden pattern of the floor and the table. I also used a brad which I thought resembled the iron wheel of the table. I had fun doing this one :o)

Sukkersött #41

Áskorun vikunnar á Sukkersött blogginu er að lita ekki stimplaðar myndir. Ég stimplaði því þennan sæta frosk frá Imaginisce á rósóttan pappir og klippti hann út.

On Sukkersött this week coloring stamped images is not allowed. So I paper pieced this cute frog from Imaginisce and used a strip of the same paper to match.

Friday Sketchers #51 & Just Magnolia #4

Ég sameinaði tvær áskoranir í þetta kort, skissuna af Friday Sketchers blogginu og áskorunina af Just Magnolia blogginu þar sem á að sauma.

I have combined two challenges with this card, I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and on Just Magnolia this week the challenge is "stitches". The flowers and branches are punched from the same paper I used for layering and then treated with some Distress Stickles.

Skrapp í {kort}er #13

Áskorun vikunnar á Skrapp í {kort}er er doppótt. Undir venjulegum kringumstæðum myndi ég líklega ekki gera kort svona svakalega doppótt, en það er einmitt það skemmtilega við að taka þátt í áskorunum, þetta með að fara aðeins út fyrir þægindahringinn og gera eitthvað annað en það sem manni kemur sjálfum fyrst í hug :o)

This week´s challenge on the Icelandic Skrapp í {kort}er blog is dots. Normally this would be a bit too many dots for me, but that´s the best part about participating in challenges, doing something different :o)

Cute Card Thursday #58

Áskorun vikunnar á Cute Card Thursday blogginu er "spegill spegill - eitthvað gljáandi". Borðaskrautið sem ég notaði á þetta kort er spegill þannig að það smellpassar í þessa áskorun :o) Í þetta sinn skreytti ég 3 hliðar á kortinu ... tja eða allavega 2 1/2 !!

This week´s theme on Cute Card Thursday is "mirror mirror - use something shiny". I have had this ribbon buckle in my stash for ages so I am happy to have finally found use for it. It is actually a mirror so it fits this challenge perfectly. On the other hand it was quite difficult to photograph, I kept getting a reflection of myself and my camera in the buckle :o) The bling and the silver stripes on the ribbon add to the shiny effect. I did 3 sides of this card for a change ... or rather 2 1/2 !!

This week´s theme on the Sukkersött blog is wings/angels. Tilda has small wings and I also used some feathers and a butterfly charm.

París

Ég er búin að vera í fríi og hef því ekki sett neitt hér inn lengi. Ég var beðin að gera afmæliskort handa konu sem býr í París og er að verða fertug og ég er ánægð með útkomuna. Ég er líka alsæl með nýju Prima-rósirnar mínar og nýja Martha Stewart kanta-pönsinn minn.

It has been a while since my last post, I´ve been on a lovely vacation. I was asked to make a birthday card for a brunette living in Paris who has her 40th birthday coming up. This is what I came up with and I like it :o) Love my new Prima-roses and my new MS border punch.

Sukkersött #33

Þetta kort er mitt framlag í áskorun nr. 33 á Sukkersött blogginu. Í þetta sinn á að gera kort sem er "clean and simple" þ.e.a.s. einfalt með litlu skrauti. Ekki alveg minn stíll, en góð tilbreyting engu að síður :o)

This is my entry in challenge #33 on the Sukkersött blog. The challenge this time is "clean and simple". Not quite my style, but a nice change anyway :o) I printed the text on my computer, it is a line from an old Icelandic song and it translates something like "the white butterflies are flying", therefor the butterflies stamped with white ink ;o)

Sukkersött #32

Þetta kort gerði ég fyrir áskorun nr. 32 á Sukkersött blogginu, en ég er ekki viss um að það nái að vera með. Ég athuga það betur. Þetta er litaáskorun, brúnt, bleikt, eplagrænt og blágrænt eru litirnir sem á að nota. Þetta er í fyrsta sinn sem ég skreyti allar 4 hliðar korts, hef stundum skreytt fleiri en 1, en aldrei fyrr allar 4. Það kom nú aðallega til af því að ég vildi hafa peningavasa innaní og svo vatt þetta upp á sig.

I made this card for challenge #32 on the Sukkersött blog, but I am not sure if I can enter it on time. This time the challenge is to use brown, pink, applegreen and teal/turquoise. This is my first attempt at decorating all 4 sides of a card, I have done more than 1 a few times, but never before have I done all 4. I wanted to make a pocket on the inside and went on from there. I like how this card turned out, I think these colors work well together, at least they are not dull :o)

Skrapp í {kort}er #9

Þetta kort gerði ég fyrir áskorunina á Skrapp í {kort}er blogginu. Að þessu sinni er litaáskorun í gangi, nota á svart, hvítt, eplagrænt, ljósblágrænt og gult. Ég er nú bara nokkuð ánægð með útkomuna :o)

I made this card for the current challenge on the Icelandic Skrapp í {kort}er challenge blog. This time the challenge is to use the following colors: black, white, apple green, light teal and yellow. I am quite happy with how this turned out. I think I wouldn´t normally use these colors together and that´s exactly what I like about taking part in challenges, you try things you wouldn´t think of doing all by yourself :o)
